Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

By making an appointment for hypnotherapy session(s) with me, Liviu Tipurita, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. If you are unable or unwilling to agree to these terms and conditions, then you should not book appointments, continue with your course of therapy, or browse this website. Please notify me of this situation.

2. Confidentiality & Privacy

2.1. I maintain the confidentiality of all knowledge and information concerning my clients, or prospective clients.

2.2. 2.2. To protect your confidentiality and privacy, if we meet in public spaces or social situations, I will not acknowledge you first. This professional boundary ensures your therapy remains private and that others aren't inadvertently made aware of our professional relationship. You are always welcome to acknowledge me first if you wish to interact.

2.3. You can talk about sensitive, private issues not easily shared with friends, family, or even your doctor, with guaranteed confidentiality.

2.4. I may disclose information only when required by law.

2.5. If you disclose information which may place any person (including yourself) in real danger of injury or abuse, then I may need to disclose such information as it may prevent that abuse or injury. This would include drugs or arms smuggling or acts of terrorism.

2.6. Client email addresses/telephone numbers are held solely for the purpose of communicating directly with a client regarding their specific treatment or for our own marketing purposes, if the client agrees.

2.7. Email addresses or any other personal information are not passed on to any third party or partner for marketing purposes.

2.8. Please make sure you review my Privacy Notice for further detailed information on how we handle your personal data, compliant with GDPR rules.

3. Treatment of Minors

3.1. I only treat children and teens who are interested in hypnosis and who want to find out if it may work for them. I will not treat children or teens who appear to be coming to hypnotherapy because an authority figure (typically Mum or Dad) believes it is the right thing to do. Hypnotherapy works exceptionally well when clients feel that they are in control of the process. The opposite is equally true.

3.2. An adult caregiver (typically Mum or Dad) must fill out the Parental Consent Form prior to the hypnotherapy session, at the time of booking.

4. Payments for Hypnotherapy

4.1. All sessions must be paid for in advance at the time of booking.

4.2. You can by Revolut (our preferred method), via online bank transfers or PayPal. All major debit/credit cards are also accepted.

4.3. We do not accept cheques.

5. Cancellation & Re-Scheduling

5.1. If you cannot make it to an appointment, please give me at least 24 hours' notice by email. You can re-schedule or cancel and receive a refund.

5.2. If you do not give at least 24 hours' notice, you will be liable for the full cost of the session.

5.3. No-shows will be billed for the full session fee.

6. Late Arrivals

6.1. I completely understand that delays can happen, however I must honour my appointments with other clients.

6.2. Your late start will require that I end the session at the scheduled time, meaning that your session will unfortunately be shorter.

7. Insurance

7.1. The hypnotherapy services provided by Liviu Tipurita are fully insured.

8. Therapeutic Process

8.1. The Hypnotherapist, Liviu Tipurita, will use a variety of therapeutic methods to assist clients in achieving their aims during the course of sessions. By booking sessions, you agree that you are a willing participant in this process.

8.2. While the hypnotherapist will do everything possible to help you, there are no guarantees as to the effectiveness of the treatment. Results achieved with other clients are not a promise or guarantee of similar results for you.

8.3. The therapeutic process is a collaboration between client and hypnotherapist. By booking sessions, you authorize the hypnotherapist to use whichever therapeutic methods he deems most suited to your condition. You agree to cooperate to the best of your ability.

8.4. The decision to undergo hypnotherapy is yours, and you assume personal responsibility for this choice. While Liviu Tipurita is committed to providing professional and ethical hypnotherapy services, the nature of therapy involves personal processes that depend significantly on client participation and individual factors. By booking sessions, you acknowledge that outcomes vary and that the hypnotherapist's role is to facilitate rather than guarantee specific results.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. Any resources sent to you as part of our work together remains my intellectual property.

9.2. You should not disclose, communicate, reproduce, or distribute any materials and resources provided during delivery of our sessions or our work together.

10. International Clients

10.1. Please note that I am based in the UK and as such I am governed by UK laws.

11. Unsuitable for Hypnosis

There are a few medical conditions where hypnosis is considered unsuitable:

11.1. Epilepsy that is not under control with medication and considered inappropriate by the patient's GP.

11.2. Patients with severe mental health problems (psychosis, schizophrenia), or learning disabilities where cooperation is difficult.

11.3. Those under the influence of alcohol, or drugs where concentration is impaired.

11.4. Hypnosis is considered inappropriate for very young children (generally under the age of five) where there is a reduced attention span.

12. Standards of Behaviour

12.1. During the course of therapy, I'm committed to treating you with respect, kindness, and understanding.

12.2. In return, it is expected that you extend your respect to every individual at the therapy practice, including me, as well as respect the property.

12.3. It is essential that you attend each session in a sober state, completely free from the influence of alcohol and drugs.

12.4. Should any behaviour contradict these established standards of conduct, I reserve the right to cancel the session and any subsequent therapy sessions without a refund.

13. Control, Cures & Guarantees

13.1. The control of thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and behaviours always reside within the client. No patient is "made" to do anything against their will using hypnosis.

13.2. A well-motivated client is very likely to achieve realistic goals. However, it is unethical to guarantee a cure. As with any medical or therapeutic process there can be no definite guarantees.

13.3. Hypnotic programmes are reliant on 'you' the client. You will be required to be 100% committed, opened & motivated. In return, I guarantee I will do my best to help you.

13.4. I guarantee to apply my training, expertise, and experience to your issues with the aim of achieving agreed goals in as reasonable time as possible.

14. Estimated Number of Sessions

14.1. Estimates of the number of sessions required to treat a condition given at the enquiry stage or during the first consultation, are given based on the information presented at that time.

14.2. Estimates are also made based on work done with previous clients, but please note that each client has a different case history, and the causes of their condition are unique.

14.3. Estimates regarding session numbers are provided as rough guidelines only and may change based on individual progress and therapeutic needs. Any additional sessions beyond the initial estimate will only take place with your prior agreement.
